Citronelle's Stephen Watts, Jr., named Alabama Secondary School Counselor of the Year

Stephen Watts Jr., a counselor at Citronelle High School, recently received the 2023 Secondary School Counselor of the Year Award through the Alabama School Counselor Association (ALSCA). 

During the ALSCA Awards Luncheon, Mr. Watts was recognized for implementing and facilitating a data-driven, comprehensive School Counseling Program at Citronelle High.  This award recognizes that Watts’ programs have been successful in closing the achievement gap for his students.

Watts was recognized at the Alabama Counseling Association Fall Conference in Birmingham.
