MCPSS cheerleaders excel at nationals

Several MCPSS cheerleading teams turned in exemplary performances at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Competition held last month in Orlando.

Theodore High School finished second place nationally in the Small Varsity Coed Division II Gameday category. Mary G. Montgomery placed ninth place nationally in Small Varsity Coed Division I Gameday, and Baker finished seventh in the semifinals for the Medium Varsity Coed Gameday category.

In addition, Causey Middle School placed in the Top 10 in its division.
